TERMS & CONDITIONS
Structure of the Nature Embodied Project:
We complete a team of variously skilled people. It creates dynamics in the group. The project is about knowledge & experience exchange.
The aim is to create together, explore together, and „take a risk of creation” all together. Every member of the project is responsible for coordinating and leading one of the „body arts field”. This „fields of interest” gives a shape and directions of the laboratory work.
Ways of participation:
1) Member of the laboratory explorations ('A journey of body & voice) – It means taking active part in the whole process of „nature embodiement”).
2) „Witness” (Film & Photo documentation) – It means you participate in the process „from the outside”, taking pictures or filming or writing an article about the experience we go through.*)
3) Helper – "Laboratory helper": It means taking care during the Project of food organisation and shopping, making transportation arrangements (bus schedules, renting a car, etc.), keeping eye our belongings when we work in the spaces out of the camp during the Project, etc. "Festival helper": It means help with promotion & collection of registations for the Festival, during the month of Nature Embodied Laboratory.
Participation the Project/Festival means accepting all the terms and conditions:
1. The participation is fully on your own risk. The organizers and the facilitators of Nature Embodied Project & Nature Embodied Festival are not liable for any damages or injuries!
The project demands physical, mental and emotional skills, and each Participant takes his own responsibility to be ready to deal with them.
The organiser does not take responsibility of any physical wounds, nor mental, emotional and body damages, nor any tragic accidents, if any happen.
2. The participant is responsible for his or her belongings. The organiser does not take responsibility for any lost or stolen goods and materials that can occur during, before or aferthe event.
3. The Participant testyfies that his skills, the approach and attitude go along with the main Nature Embodied idea and specific way of work. The Participant is responsible to bring with him any tools/equipment is needed for practicing his skill during the Event.
4. The participants declares readiness for living in plan, natural, sometimes unpredictable conditions. [Living in tents, 'under the sky', in the caves, etc.] Thus comes prepared (tent, clothes, health, attitude).
5. The Participant accepts that all Nature Embodied conditions are not „standarised”, and might change due to weather, group process, organisers decisions, and any other important factors. Both Laboratory & Festival do not close schedules into frames. It meand the hours and amount of hours of work per day, as well as themes, might change.
6. Integral part of the project are 'witnesses', photographer(s), and filmer(s). Each Participant accept the presence of 'witnesses' in every moment of the Project. [It means no division for: time of work, and time of rest. The whole process which happens on the Nature Embodied, from living together to improvising, is equally importan & significant part of work to be documented].
7. The Participant accepts, that all photos/videos from the Event – on which the Participant is captured – can be used without asking any permission.*) The photo/video material of the Event will be maily used to document and promote: Nature Embodied Laboratory & Festival, the participants and the organiser. Usage means mainly: Internet, DVD, paper prints.
*) The Organiser do care a lot to choose materials consciously and with respect. In case of very intimate pictures, before using in media, we might write to you and ask for a consent to publication. In case any already published material really bothers you, please write to discuss the issue.
8. The Participant accepts the food conditions of the Event.
Nature Embodied Laboratory: The diet and food is included in the fee, on the conditions explained by the Organiser for each paricular Event. The meals are very plain, simple, orientated to be nutritive & light. The preparation of food when simple does not take too much attention from being in nature and body explorations. At the same time healthy eating is an integrated part of whole 'nature embodiement' practice.
Diet is mostly vegan, basicly vegatarian. We recommend to accept it, and stay with it during the project, to have the chance to explore the body limits, and states of purification. If someone definetely, due to his health needs – has to add to the diet different products – he needs to organise it on his own.
Nature Embodied Festival: The food is not incluede in the Festival fee. The Participants organise food themselves, with possibility of arranging common shopping&cooking.
9. The organiser keeps the right to change the terms & conditions in any moment, to adjust them to the reality and needs of the Event.
10. The Project in non-profit. It was a tremendous work for the organiser, to prepare all to make it happen. We raise a fundraising campaign, to support the Nature Embodied Laboratory & Festival, and all actions which are connected with organising and making it happen.
The participation fee guarantees:
Nature Embodied Laboratory: (1) accomodation and food during the Project, on conditions presented by the organisator [to be found in precise description of the certain projects]; (2) might include main travels to the work destinations (approx. 3 places to reach); check each Project precise conditions; (3) participation in the whole Nature Embodied Laboratory.
Nature Embodied Festival: partcipation in the chosen workshops, jams, performances & events (according to a specific plan of each Festival).
Due to organisation matters, both deposit and full payment for the participation are non-refundable. In case of cancellation however, the Participant can suggest the other person to take his/her place.
The togetherness in creation is connected with the costs of the Project. The basic cost of participation is always the highest option, and due to Fundraising campaigns it can always be reduced when the craftfunding campaign(s) succeeds.
